STEPS YOU TAKE
Ready for your first flight?
Choose a suitable package, date and time of the flight in the store. After you make the full payment on our website you will have your booking confirmed. You can book a flight without advance payment on the same day if there is a free slot in the schedule.
Booking
Show up at iFLY Minsk at least one hour before the booked time. Check in with the receptionist and fill out a short questionnaire. Bring your passport or driver's license with you to prove your identity. If minors under 18 are planning to fly, they must be accompanied by an adult.
Checking in
30 minutes before the start of the flight, the instructor will give you your gear – the flight suit, helmet, goggles, and earplugs. The suit is put on top of what you wear, so your clothes must be comfortable. Bring a change of shoes as well (sneakers with a CLEAN sole).
Gear Up
Your flight is split into several sessions within a group, where everyone takes turns while waiting for their flight in the pre-flight area. You fly on your own in the presence of an instructor at an altitude, where he or she ensures your complete safety and helps you get the feel of the air flow.
Flight
15 minutes before the flight you will have a quick briefing where the instructor will tell and show what body position you should take for a comfortable flight, how to enter and exit the wind tunnel and also teach you simple signals to communicate with you during the flight.
Briefing
Flying to the height of 7–8 meters with an instructor is the most memorable and fun part of the flight. Everyone will experience sensations that are as close as possible to null-gravity when flying upwards and to a free fall during the breathtaking descent.
High flight
Media files are available for download on the day of the flight and are stored for one month. To find your photos and videos, you only need your booking or certificate number. We use two cameras to record videos, but your friends or family can film from alternative angles.

Safety is our top priority at iFLY Minsk. This is why our entire team has completed extensive training according to the best international standards. Before a flight an instructor will give you the gear and make a brifieng. He or she will be with you all the time during your entire flight. Also, the flight is monitored by a controller who manages the power of air flow.
You should have no worries about any unforeseen power cuts. If this happens, the engines will run down, so you will descend gently and safely.

We apply the following restrictions:
If you have had a dislocated shoulder, your instructor will aditionally brief you to minimize the risk of recurrence. For the sake of your safety, we will also have to cancel the 7-8-meter high flight.
- The maximum weight of a flyer should be up to ≈120 kg. In some cases, the limit may be increased – as long as our gear fits you.
- You cannot fly if you are pregnant.
- You are now allowed to fly under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Refrain from flying if you have a shoulder dislocation or any unhealed injuries.
If you have had a dislocated shoulder, your instructor will aditionally brief you to minimize the risk of recurrence. For the sake of your safety, we will also have to cancel the 7-8-meter high flight.
The best duration for a beginner is 4–6 minutes. It is short enough for you not get tired and long enough to learn how to control your body in the air and to embrace and feel the flight.
The most important difference between the 6-minute flight and the 4-minute flight is that you will have three sessions and go up to the height of 7–8 meters with the instructor twice.
The 2-minute plan also enables you to enjoy the freedom of flight and will give you unforgettable emotions. It is recommended for children aged 3 to 5.

Flying in a tunnel simulates the free fall of a parachute jump. It is hard to imagine, but in the tunnel we also appear to fall. We have a special "Become a PRO" package, which includes 15 minutes of flight time divided into three 5-minute training sessions. The main difference from the standard flight is individual approach, more detailed briefing and video-based postflight debriefing. During this course you will learn basic skills of flying in the wind tunnel. Upon completion you will be able to buy flight time at special rates for athletes, train more often and learn how to perform various tricks.

Flying is available all year round because the tunnel is located in an indoor aerodynamic facility. It means that we maintain a constant comfortable temperature of 25–26 °C within the flying area, regardless of the season and weather.
